Hi, I’m Pruthvi Anasune.
I’m a marketer with an engineer’s training. I help B2B AI startups get seen, trusted and shortlisted by the buyers who’ll pay for them.

From engineering to distribution
I trained as an engineer at BITS Pilani, and I still think like one. When something isn’t working, I want to see the system behind it: the inputs, the bottleneck and the number that tells you it’s fixed.
Then I spent my time building marketing from the inside: launches, campaigns, websites, and hiring the people who run them. The pattern I kept seeing was simple. Products that buyers had heard of, often and from people they trusted, got the meeting. Equally good products that buyers hadn’t heard of waited.

Why B2B AI startups
AI startups ship faster than any companies before them. A feature that took a quarter now takes a week, and a new category can fill with competitors in months. In that market, the product with the best demo rarely wins on its own. The one buyers keep hearing about makes the shortlist.
Buyers are also changing how they research. They read founder posts on LinkedIn, ask peers in communities, and increasingly ask ChatGPT and Perplexity which tool to buy. I wrote about what that means in Your buyers ask ChatGPT before they ask your sales team.
That’s the work I do: positioning a buyer understands in one read, a founder-led presence that builds pipeline, launches people remember, and the tracking that shows which of it is working.
What I believe.
Distribution is a system.
It has inputs, a rhythm and a feedback loop, so it can be designed, measured and improved like any other part of the company.
The founder is the first channel.
Early on, buyers trust a founder’s point of view more than any brand account. The job is to make that voice easy to keep up.
Buyers decide before they talk to you.
Most of the shortlist forms in feeds, communities and AI answers. You have to be present where the research happens.
Write it down.
